Air Quality and Noise Management

Air Emission Testing

Air emission testing remains necessary while performing any study related to air pollution and to find out prevention techniques. Our Air Quality team partners are recognized leaders in conducting Ambient monitoring, Stack (Testing and Performance) Analysis and Fugitive Measurements.

Industrial monitoring

EMC has expertise for providing Industrial Solutions including Industrial Air Emissions and Effluent Testing, Emissions and Acoustic Pollution Abatement in Industries, Indoor Air Quality.

Air Dispersion Modeling

Air dispersion modeling is carried out keeping in view the requirements of certain projects. The dispersion models are then used to estimate or to predict the downwind concentration of air pollutants or toxins emitted from sources such as industrial plants, vehicular traffic or accidental chemical releases.

At EMC, air quality modeling analysis employs USEPA Regulatory Model “AERMOD”. AERMOD is a graphic user interface for the ISCST3 USEPA air dispersion model. The ISCST3 (Industrial Source Complex – Short Term version 3) dispersion model is a steady-state Gaussian plume model which can be used to assess air pollutant concentrations and/or deposition fluxes from a wide variety of sources associated with an industrial source complex.

Noise Monitoring and Mapping

Noise Monitoring designed to observe noise levels at a location caused by vibrating sources and ascertains whether these noise levels are compliant with the noise level standards set by the environmental regulatory authority.

In the environmental noise control practice, noise mapping is a powerful tool by its capability to show noise situation of large areas on a single diagram.
